When you join NFA as an AV Technician you'll join a high-performing team of dedicated professionals responsible for ensuring that NFA's PCs and VC equipment operate consistently and efficiently. Beginning your first day and throughout your career, you'll utilize your technical know-how and attention to detail to support our important regulatory mission.

What you'll do:

As an AV Technician, you'll support NFA's efforts by assisting with PC and VC system configuration and maintenance, all in service of ensuring NFA's technology functions consistently. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing an enterprise platform to configure and manage VC devices remotely.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to VC control systems, audio/video transmission and related technologies.
  • Supporting high-level meetings including Board Meetings to ensure proper technical setup and execution.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation for system configurations, component diagrams, operating procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  • Providing VC systems training and support to end users.
  • Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to keep current regarding new remote collaboration technology and organizational needs.
  • Configuring PCs and providing Microsoft Operating System support.
  • Maintaining detailed documentation regarding PC and VC system configuration and support.


What we're looking for:
  • Understanding of Crestron Flex Video Conferencing hardware and software
  • Understanding of video conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom
  • Experience configuring and troubleshooting Intel-based laptops and other peripherals
  • Knowledge of Crestron XiO Cloud technology for remote device management preferred
  • Knowledge of BrightSign video display technology preferred


Salary range: $66,800-$111,300.00
